  • Notes
    • According to Sal Vignato's "The Vignato Legacy," Frances, "at the age of 20, married Francis Catton of Bellport in 1916. They bought the house to the south of us."

A transcription of the Suffolk County NY marriage index shows "Frank A Kayton" and "Frances M. Vignato" married Nov 30 1916.

The Vignato Legacy reads "Sister Frances husband Francis Catton became ill with the influenza virus and died. Sister Frances gave birth to a stillborn baby at about the same time. Brother-in-law Francis Catton and his son were placed in the same coffin and laid out in the General Store in the Post Office at Dutton Avenue and Robinson Avenue. Where internment was I do not know."
