      Debbie,

I am sorry to have to tell you that my father passed away early Thursday
morning. He had entered the hospital with a severe case of pneumonia on
Tuesday night and never recovered. While we are saddened by his loss, we
know that he is happier now than he was. He always spoke very warmly of you,
and I know he was delighted by the work you have done to reconstruct his
      family history.

I continue to enjoy and make use of your website information. Recently I
downloaded the picture of my grandmother in her flapper dress to use as an
overhead in my Social Studies class studying the 1920's. It made for a
      wonderful discussion.

Please stay well and remain in contact with us. We all wish you well.

      Bob Braun
      Son of John H. Braun
