Message summary: The combination of light winds and saturated ground has resulted in the development of patchy dense fog across mainly rurals areas in central Virginia. The fog is expected to continue through the early morning hours...gradually dissipating after 8 am. Visibilities in some areas will be reduced to 1/4 mile due to the fog. Motorists should be alert for sudden changes in visibility due to the dense fog. Drive at reduced speeds...watch for children at school bus stops...and use low beam headlights only.
